Well there are three different types of Gobot as it were:

The first is the separate toy line to the Transformers, made by Tonka, released round the same time as Transformers (also in this line were the "Rocklords", though they stayed separate to the main Gobot line till the feature movie).

Then In 91 Hasbro took over Tonka, and gained the Gobot name, and they have used it a few times, one was for a small line of figures round G2, and the other was for the Playskool line of transformers meant for small kids.

Thats about the gist of it, though Wikipedia is a good place for more info.

And thinking bout it, I'm sure someone put up an article they had written bout Gobot history here, though I think it was a while ago.

I have something weird, too! So there I was, walking in the ghetto of New Haven,CT and I look down, and noticed a yellow version of Universe Bonecrusher. I took it home and saw it had no Autobot or Decepticon symbol, and a white scoop with black treads. Can somebody PLEASE identify this reject?

Oh that Armada Predacon. He was going to be my first Transformer when I saw him on clearance at Wal-Mart at the end of Armada, but I ended up getting Energon Rodimus.

I don't have a picture of this toy online yet but I can describe him. The character first appeared in the third season of G1. He's a dark green and magenta gator. He's a decepticon. It has a seperate transformer that turns into his head and that piece is light green and grey. I found out the names of all my other transformers but I didn't see this one in the database. If no one knows I'll post a picture of him later. Thanks. :)

That's an easy one: Skullcruncher. A gallery of him will appear eventually. :)

Thanks so much!:D I would have never figured that out. It's weird... i thought that the head that came with my toy was the original head... it fits but it doesnt' look exactly like the one in your picture. I wonder where that head came from. The head that I have on my Skullcrusher is grey and green instead of black and green.

That would be Duros, the head of Hardhead

All the Headmaster head units interchange so it's easy to get them mixed up.

tom brokaw, Preadacon came out right at the tail end of Armada with the rest of the Unicron Battles repaints of Beast Wars TM Rhinox, TM Cheetor, TM Airrazor, and TM Terrorsaur.

I bought two transformers from TRU in the UK in early 90s.
I believe they were part of the G2 line.
Both were sold in a bubble on card
One, an autobot, was a white aports car that had a blue barrel shaped gun that fired yellow missiles.
In vehicle mode, the gun fitted on top of the rear of the car.
The second was a decepticon purpley-pink jet, i don't remember much about it but i do remember it having a projectile weapon and somewhere on it a a piece of green plastic popped up with a gun sight. there was also a green plastic window at the back of the head and it had green eyes.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a G1 Turbomaster Predator couple. Hang on. *digs into his burrow, throwing dirt everywhere*

Found them. The car is called Hurricane, and the jet is called Skydive (not to be confused with the G1 Aerialbot). Here are some links:

Cobra Island Toys' Hurricane entry
Cobra Island Toys' Predator Skydive entry

Turbomasters and Predators were only available in Europe and Canada, Japan (in pairs) and possibly Australia.

By the way, you probably mixed Skydive with Skyquake, another predator jet. Any smaller Predator could link up with Skyquake, you could then see a smal battle scene throught the scope.

Amazing, thanks very much. Mystery solved. They're sadly missing from my collection now, not sure what happened to them. Thanks again JelZe GoldRabbit.

The jets can also attach to the ICBM from Stalker (Burn's favourite toy :P), for the same ability.

As for Armada Predacon, there was a bio for him in the Dreamwave Armada MTMTE. He's apparently a vocal supporter of the mixing of organic components with existing Cybertronian technology. Here's his Teletraan-1 entry.
