I've been wondering, are they worth dropping the money on? I've heard things such as prowl is mysteriously brought back to life even tho he died in the movie. Do the series have the same feeling as the former or do they deviate too far from it? Your opinion.

any who, the japaneese series are all different.

headmasters is pretty good, but gets slow imho. now in the japaneese continuity, the movie happened latter, so things get mixed around. Technically every tf thing is in the japaneese continuity, unlike the us/uk one, where things are seperate.

it depends on what your a fan of. if you're a stickler g1 purest, headmasters might be as far as you want to stretch things. if you like the animation style of that try the others.
