I finally got around to picking up the first two issues of this story arc and I was impressed. I tried not to get into it since we all know Bruce will be back, but Grant Morrison's writting is awesome. What is everyone else's thoughts on the new series so far?

I've only picked up Batman and Robin 1 & 2, and am waiting for Batgirl.
Quite good stuff. The one thing I don't like about Morrison is that he doesn't want to write comics that let you relax, take a load off and enjoy. He makes you WORK to read and 'get' everything. B & R is very mellow for him, this is probably as close as a brainless enjoyable Morrison as you will ever get.

I gave up with Grant Morrison after his work on JLA after that he hasn't written any thing I would pay 1 cent for.

Yeah, I'm loving Batman & Robin.
I'm also digging the Dini books: Streets of Gotham and Gotham Sirens.
Though as much as I love Mark Bagley, I wasn't feeling the Batman title, just not enjoying the story. Which is a real shame because I like the art.

The 3rd issue was great, sadly Frank Quitely is leaving the series.
