Model kit hobbyists!
Posted: Sun Nov 01, 2009 5:02 pmI couldn't find any thread in the General Discussion board relating to model kits in general so here we are. If you are into model kits, please join the discussion and share your history with model kits and your collection! 
I've recently branched out from Transformers collecting to Gundam plastic model kits. Even more recently, I've branched out beyond Gundam model kits. I've just purchased a 1/48 Real Robot Revolution SPT-LZ-00X Layzner.
I'm also looking into the Kotobukiya lines of models like the Super Robot War 1/144 and 1/100 kits. I've read that the earlier kits have "cheaper" construction, which includes thinner and more brittle plastic parts but apparently the more recent kits have come up in quality quite a bit. If anyone has experience with the Kotobukiya SRW model kits, please share your opinion of them.
