Braving Black Friday

I personally think Black Friday is overrated. Most of the sale items usually go back on sale before if not shortly after Christmas. The only items worth fighting the crowds are items I can't afford like $300 laptops (show me a $250 laptop!). As Capt Nero said at the end of Startrek I'd rather die in AGONY than face Black Friday!
So the question is...
Will you stand alone against the fury of Black Friday?

That kind of defeats the purpose. Black Friday is all about Christmas shopping, so buying sale items afterwords is pointless.

A $300 laptop? Doesn't matter to me. I'm a gamer, you can't get a gaming laptop for $300.

I don't work retail, so I don't think I will.

Best way to survive Black Friday: Stay Home.

If you have to work, I pity you then.

I got a netbook for a little over $300; of course, it's not really good for games, other than Solitare.

I agree with Archanubis: My Black Friday plans involve my G1 dvds and leftover turkey dinner. And barricading myself in.

I can't imagine any amount of savings worth the sanity and/or dignity loss that I've seen year after year on the evening news--parents punching each other for Tickle Me Elmos, that person getting trampled at Wally last year.... No thanks. I'll spend the extra money and keep my humanity, please.

HK, what little I have left.

Mr. T says "I pity the fool who has to work on Black Friday!"

I actually went to 2 Walmart but it was in the evening. It actually wasn't bad. Picked up GI JOE, the last Bond film and Madea Goes to Jail and a $30 DVD player.
