My beautiful wife and I said "I do"..
My friends did not think we would last 6 months.. Now 17 years later still happy and still in love.
Through tough times, good times, hurricanes, layoffs, finances, two beautiful daughters and all the sad times we hung tough and are still pressing on.

For those that are contemplating marriage or have just recently married, no matter the situation keep pushing ahead together. Together you CAN make it.

Congratulations, Cyber Bishop. :) Seventeen years? That's longer than most Hollywood marriages put together.

Congratulations! A marriage that lasts as longs as yours and is still going strong is a great blessing. You two were lucky to find each other. :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

Congratulations! I've never been married, and never thought I would be. But it depends on the person who's perfect for me and that I found her. So yeah, I'll be getting married in the next few years.

Congrats CB,

While not married yet, that day is coming in the near future for myself. All the best to you and your family.

Considering my foray into wedlock lasted...4 years, I have a profound admiration and respect for ANYONE who can keep a marriage going. It's tough work! Especially, I imagine, with some of the curve balls life has thrown at you, CB.

Congratulations to both of you for beating the statistics, and here's to hoping for 17 more (and then even more!)

Congrats.

But more importantly, did you kick your friends' asses for doubting you?

A little late to the party, but congrats man. My parents were married 45 years before my dad passed away. My sister has 20 years. Next week, I'll celebrate 9. It's a full-time job, but the benefits are great. I've got a house and 2 great kids, which I never could have gotten alone.
