An irritating computer issue

Well, the last time I was home I'm guessing my brother used AIM and clicked a link he shouldn't have. I keep getting told that when I'm not even on my computer people receive IMs from me saying "I love the Jersey Shore, check out this quiz" and then it contains a link. I thought I had gotten rid of it, but then it kept doing it. I deleted my buddy list of the screen name that was doing it too. So people stop getting them while I try to get rid of it. Now, I'm even more irritated. I'm talking to a few friends via Facebook chat messenger and I notice my profile posts the same damn Jersey Shore message my AIM was posting. I have tried scanning with Malwarebytes and it doesn't find anything. I've tried AIMfix and to be honest, I don't think its doing jack. Anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like your password(s) and username(s) were phished somehow and it's using your account(s) to spread.
It doesn't sound like a problem on your end, actually. It sounds like an internet/you got "hacked" problem.
Someone did it to my Facebook a while back. I ended up having to get rid of a bunch of posts, lock down the security on my site, and report the problem to Facebook themselves.
Oh and one other recommendation, never click a link in an email from Facebook. If what they emailed you is legit, you can log into your profile and confirm it.
After a while, the problem posting on my Facebook account just stopped. It might do the same for you.
In the future, I'd recommend locking out your computer with a password or some kind of security system to keep people out.

My everyday spam consists of e-mails like that, and they somehow look like they arrived from my e-mail address
