Hey seibertronians,I know there are some sonic/transformers fans out there and I really want to talk about Sonic stuff in general. Games, comics, and toys. Like: who else thought sonic x was torture? He looked great slose up,but far shots make him look all wompy. And the toys were pre posed that sucked. And why did they play the characters stupid jingle every five seconds. Does anyone else own a sonic racer yet or is it just me? I got sonic and shadow yesterday. Sorry if there's another sonic topic and I overlooked it

Oh god Sonic X sucked. The best show was early in my years... Sonic Underground.

Loved playing Sonic games on the Genesis. My favourite was Sonic II.

Favourite character has to be Jet or Blaze..

Blurrz,we meet again I too used to watch sonic underground as a kid. I also used to watch the sonic movie vhs tape. Speaking of which my san diego. Comic con metal sonic just arrived. I know that movie by heart. Well I recently rented sonic x to see if it was as bad as I remembered. It was. Now I got the theme song stuck in my head. "Stuck in a noodlecation with-out-an-y-ex-pla-nation just go go go go don't think don't blink just go go go go ggggo go" sorry about that but it is catchy. But my opinion doesn't count cause I like all of the theme songs especially the adventures of sonic the hedgehog since it sounds like the song on the Sega. And sonic sat am "he's the fastest thing aliiieeive" sorry for going all nostalgic.

Oh the agony I hated that show it and it's stupid songs, maybe it was just me hating it due to the changes like Sonic being a prince and having a triplet sister and brother who constantly made musik till my ears started bleeding. And then it doesn't even have the decency of concluding it's story line. :BOOM:

I always enjoyed playing the games n the Megadrive, I own most of them on my GameCube though via Mega Collection and Gems Collection.

I finished reading the UK comic not too long ago, if you haven't you should it's awesome, and I'm currently catching up on the Archie comics, I'm currently at issue 33 or so and have only just managed to read an issue without going "Oh my God this is utter sh*te why am I reading this?!" But I have to say it just keeps getting better still not as good as the UK comic but still pretty good.

My favourite character is Knuckles due to his characterisation in the UK comic (short STC), I just love how he kept his "Get the F**k off my island" attitude while other Knuckles turned into Tails 2.0. My Second favourite is Super Sonic from STC:

Damn I just can't go back to standard Super Sonic after coming in touch with this one.

The songs from sonic underground were a little annoying. They never finished the series?!?! I didn't know that. They should have took a clue from avatar and made a finale later. What's wrong with that super sonic? He looks...different. I remember I think it was 129 when sonic used the red chaos emeralds to go super sonic and this caused him to have a dopple ganger. I don't have the issue any more thanks to a nosy a** science teacher. She therw half a stack of my books in the garbage. And she waited until I left to do so so I couldn't stop her. Unfortunatley my first comics were in that stack so I only have half of my collection. Do they still make sonic books? There are no comic shops near where I live so my collection stopped around 160. Scourge is the best new character he has sega sunglasses.

He is evil, insane and bloodthirsty and in that picture he plots to kill the entire planet.
Long story short, STC Sonic goes Hyde whenever he turns into Super Sonic, the two later get separated meaning Super now wants to kill everything including Sonic.
Yea Sonic Underground was never finished, they just stopped at around 40 episodes and never bothered completing the story, kind like Sonic SatAM, just that that series at least resolved a few plot lines while Underground never completed any of its own.

What's stc? The situation dead metal described sounds like the one I was talking about but in my sonic book sonic wasn't evil but the red chaos emeralds formed an evil super sonic. The emeralds were red because they were of a different planet. I wonder why the emeralds went from green to multi color. Sega should know that once a gem isn't green its not an emerald.

STC is Sonic The Comic, which was released in the UK. It's not the same as Archie's Sonic Universe, as it had completely different stories and even featured different characters and mechanics, It's finished its run, but there are websites that produce fan comics to this day.

Well, since I am here, I'm proud to say I'm a Sonic fan too. Sure, this day's games may be more glitchy than they should be (the 3D ones specifically), but they're still fun to play. Which reminds me, I've yet to properly finish Sonic and the Black Knight.

Wow sonic the comic sounds interesting. Out of all of the sonic games sonic unleashed is my favorite game. The worst one is sonic heroes. One I don't care for is shadow the hedgehog. It seemed kinda gritty for a sonic spin off. Hedgehogs that can run at super sonic speed and spindash don't need guns. But shadow was a good character and they didn't have to give him guns to make him a likable character.

Sonic the Comic is really good, it starts out week but ends up being utter awesomeness. You should try it out.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a grate game and the last good Sonic game before Sonic 2006 ( ), the reason he has guns is SEGA has been asked by fans for ages to give sonic some-kind of gun instead of just using his Spin attack, so instead of ruining Sonic by making him trigger-happy they gave the guns to Shadow. And I think it suits his character a lot, also you don't even have to use them in the game, they just make things easier.

Oh I'm glad sega decided to do that to shadow and not sonic. Now I recall one moment when sonic said he would never touch a gun. Its been a while since I played that game cause I used to have it for game cube. I used to own every sonic game ever made for game cube. But I sold my game cube. I even had billy hatcher just because it said "sonic team" in the corner. Ah rolling around a giant egg never got old. But back to shadow. I never beat every level because the levels get depressing after awhile. Do you know how hard it is to destroy something when you can't go strait to it,you have to use data highways. So I never got to go super shadow. But I remember being in middle school getting on the computer trying to find every screenshot and video of the not yet released game at the time. So I shouldn't bash a game I thought was supercool at the time. I was just saying it was odd of sega to do such a thing. Thanks for clearing that up for me, I was just looking at my shadow racer and the emblem on his motorcycle is from the game. Sonic the comic huh can it be bought over the internet? If so if it was being shipped from the UK wouldn't it take forever and a day to reach me?

You can search ebay for single issues or go the download route which will be the only way you'll ever get to read the comic.

I didn't know Blurrz and Dead Metal were such sonic fans. I do Sonic fan art and so far I got two comics started. One is based on the sonic sat am show and the othe is a dbz crossover. But I can't see to finish them cause I don't have much of an imagination. My imagination says "stop what are you doing this never happened!"I was going to start a comic called shadow and sonic adventures or super sonic vs super sonic (I'm referring to sth sonic and stc sonic. But since I can't get any good info on stc sonic I don't want to mess it up and make him say"oh no I accedentally collected the seven chaos emeralds run!"

Why do I always get the sneaking suspicion that the most avid Sonic fans are really the most scary furries?

Legit question, this goes beyond being a hater.

CP, you should only start worrying when they start donning fur suits. That's what makes a furry ;) I'm more scared about the fact there are so many self-insertion fan characters, and the tings they do... :-s

That's the reason I stay faaaaaaaaaaaar away from any Sonic fan community, I visited a few and decided that I hate "pure" Sonic fans and their communities. Scary sh*t indeed....

Besides TF fans at least have the creativity to design fancharacters instead of just giving Sonic new clothes and calling him an "original character".

What about fan games? I've seen quite a few trailers on YouTube, and forgive me for saying this, but most of the time, they look unprofessional. Of course, I can't judge since I've yet to start my own games, but I know what I want in them.

No I haven't but I read a few posts of Sonic fan game developers when Sonic 4 was announced as being back to the roots, they imminently threatened with lawsuits should Sega use their 2D Sonic game engines and/or their "creative" fan characters like sparkling sh+t brown Sonic and blue Amy or Green Knuckles with Sonic shoes. Damn I hate them, they almost make me stop enjoying sonic related stuff.

The character designs are just generalisation but other than that it's accurate, you know every time someone finds his TF fan character in the background of a comic and how they react with joy and comments like "woot how awesome is that my char is in a real comic!"? Sonic fans contact their lawyer to sue SEGA for using re-colourations of their own characters and intellectual property. :BANG_HEAD:

Well I've come to the point in the US Sonic comics where I noticed that I hate every single character in it, save for Sonic and Rotor, Robotnick's decent but damn do I miss the STC stuff, I mean how retarded and unlikable can characters get? :BOOM: Oh how I miss the Brotherhood of Metalix and Grimer I even miss BARF.

Hey guys its me. I used to be a mega sonic fan . I sometimes draw sonic fan art. But when I draw fan fiction comics I don't create new characters I just make up mini adventures .
What are furries I've never heard of one. I've never been to a sonic fan website. Are they weird or something?
