wireless internet

any way to cool down those wireless adapters that plug into usb ports with turning the computer off or the closing the internet beacuse the only resort ive got to is a fan behind me screen

ITS THAT HOT YOU COULD FRY EGGS ON IT!!!!

why you make ask well here is my computer clock from when i logged on 12;30;08

thats amazing for my standers 12 hour straight on seibs that my love for transformers

It's normal. All modems that get a constant feed of electricity heat up. And even if feels like "you could fry eggs on it" the temp is really only around 85 degrees. Most electronic components are made to stand temperatures of up to 135 degrees. Some even more depending on what they do. All I would say is keep it off of carpet and on a piece of plastic or glass as the carpet could be covering air vents.

funnly enough it dosnt have any vent and is on my desk but thanks for the advice also the fam seems to be working
