Today, I didnt go to school, so my mom took me to a thrift store that she normally goes to. They usually always have somthing good. (I got a NES SNES G1 Blurr and a whole bunch of other TFs from there once.) But I was just walking around until I came across this Image

this Image

and this Image

And since Im a huge symbiote fan I got them. And my dad is a Silver Surfer fan, not hard core, but I heard him say that he was his favorite superhero once, so just to suprise him, I got this too: Image

And a few minutes ago, I went on the internet trying to see how much they where worth not expecting much but then I discover that the first Venom and Carnage yous are going for over $100 on ebay! ZOMG! I was so excited! The second Venom was going for around $30 (even though its older.) And I havent found out how much the Silver Surfer is worth yet.

And how much did I pay for them you ask? A costly, wallet braking $10 and 47 cents!!! ZOMG!

And instead of just turning this into my own personal bragging thread, I want to know if theres anyone else who came across any other amazing descoveries about any toys or anything that you've had for a while and found out that they where worth some $$$ :ic$: . Im not talking $50. I mean $100 or more!!! :KREMZEEK:

Just because they're for sale at that price on E-Bay doesn't mean they're worth that much.

There are thousands of items on E-Bay that are over priced because the seller is hoping there's an idiot out there who thinks they're selling something rare.

I used to have that water squirting Venom, and the carnage. well same carnage, but it came in a different package. it was some "buy maximum carnage get $ off a spiderman figure" or some such thing

i may still have them in a shed at my grandparents house.

ahhh the memories.

That just goes to show how much I could put it on ebay in hopes of people buying it. But theres no way Im selling them now, maybe in 30 years but not now. Now I have them sitting on my wall where I just put them about 2 or 3 hours ago.
