The A-Team Movie Reviews (Spoilers likely)

Went to see this movie this afternoon and I have to say, what a BLAST that was! Campy, over the top action, fun characters, and just a fun update of the old TV series. Few notes:

1. The Van doesn't make it past the opening action scenes. That kinda sucked...that thing was iconic.

2. B.A. had "Pity" and "Fool" tattooed on his hands. Awesome!

3. Dirk Benedict's cameo (end of the credits): OMG he looks like crap, but it was funny with him talking to Face.

4. Murdock, Murdock, Murdock. Without a doubt, a fantastic characterization! Hilarious, riotous, just a great job.

5. Jessica Biel: the US Military uniform never looked so good. Damn she's hot.

6. Lynch: interesting to see how they used Lynch- who was the first to chase the original A-Team, rather than Decker- who I think was more popular.

7. Flashback- the theme popped up frequently and in surprise spots throughout the score. Alan Silvestri did a great job.

8. The use of the old voiceover and music at the end of the movie was awesome and nostalgic!

All in all, if you want a great escape for a couple hours and you remember the old TV show at all, you HAVE to see this movie! Fantastic! Can't wait to take the wife so I can see it again!

Pretty much what First-Aid said!

When I first heard they were doing an A-Team movie I was a little hesitant, you don't screw with classics at all, and honestly, Mr T? Come on ... you can't replace him!

BUT

It was done perfectly. So many parts of the original series all updated to modern times. Characterisation was spot on and hell, it was just plain fun!

Definitely one you have to go and see.

I liked the director's previous movie Smokin' Aces until the last 15 minutes where the movie stops and the entire plot is spoonfed to the viewers. So I was a bit worried about A-Team but it was a lot of fun to watch.

After watching the trailer where the parachuting tank is shooting at a Predator drone, it just looked like a romp. Then again, I'm not surprised since Skip Woods helped write it. Skip is responsible for John McClane surfing on a fighter jet and Wolverine jumping onto a helicopter from an exploding motorcycle.

It's not Oscar material. It's just insanely fun.

Hell, I think it even edged out The Losers for me considering this has a definite ending.

Not in this movie. She looked awful. She looked like she was sick, and frankly I found her very unattractive throughout the movie. Other than that I agree with you 100% on the movie.

I thought Quinton "Rampage" Jackson did a good job as B.A,. but lets face it there is only one B.A. and that is Mr. T!

BTW When I was walking out of the theatre there were a couple of kids looking at the movie poster neither could have been more 7 years old and both of them were asking their dad which one was Mr. T! That was priceless!

Liam Neeson continues to surprise me on how good he is in action movies and you could tell he was having fun. It's a fun park-your-brains movie, if you want something deep and meaningful go watch something else because The A-Team is a silly fun movie.

I have no nastalgia for the A-Team, but my brother does, and I went to see it with him yesterday.

Fun movie  . Ya know, I honestly didn't think the camp value was that high(well, at least compared to Joe and Transformers). It also didn't really push the bar of a PG-13 rating either, which I appreciate. Oh, and there was a lot of good old fashioned fun action that I enjoyed.

Fave part? Probably the hummer crashing through the hospital wall  .

This should be the movie's tagline because that fits it to a 'T'. :-B

Just got back from seeing it and still thrilled. Unlike some other movies, I don't even have to qualify this as 'stupid but fun'. This movie was extremely fun yet avoided stupid for the most part. I never saw the show so I don't know most of the references, but for what it was, this is a must-buy once it comes out on DVD.

This movie was fun all around, best movie of the summer so far, hands down. It was a lot better than Iron Man 2. Maybe Salt will give it a run for its money, or The Expendables *drool* but otherwise, this is definitely going into my DVD collection.

Yeah, I was utterly surprised by this movie. It just kept on going head first from one action scene to another. Also the guy from District 9 was awesome as Murdock, and it was nice not hear the word "****" coming out of his mouth in every other word (I swear that District 9 was trying to beat Casino for most use of the word in a single film). Everyone else fit the characters perfectly. Liam Neeson is now the action star to beat. It also nice to see the origin of BA's fear of flying.

Also, I like the fact that we actually see the A-team as a part of the regular military, which does in fact have actual A-teams.

My only complaint: There was no montage of them building stuff, but that's okay as they were kind of too busy to do so.
