Spiderman 3 symbiote..it could have been done better!

I tried to avoid looking at Spidey sybiote costume and at Venom because i wanted to wait and seen for myself. But i saw how Venom look like and he suck! He just plain suck. he look too...inorganic. The simbiote suit is just the normal suit painted black. In the comic, it din't have web-shaped design on it and it had a huge white spider.
You know what this suit should have looked-like? Like Spawn Necroplasmic armor, from the 1997 movie. It LOOK like a suit, but it still as an organic look.

I liked the Spidey suit.
The suit has chameleon abilities and
don't mind seeing a fresh look at
old ideas.
Venom could have been used better,
and they didn't have to be so lame as to
do away with him so quickly. Venom
had so much possibility.
Sandman was well done though. Probably the second best
portrayed enemy in the trilogy, next to the Green Goblin.

How I would have dealt with Venom?
Movie 2: Spider-Man can't beat Doc Ock and rescue Mary Jane on his own. However, he finds a discarded bio weapon from Osbourne labs that transforms into black suit Spider-Man. Spider-Man is now able to rescue Mary Jane. Movie ends.
Movie 3: No Sandman. First half of the movie deals with Peter being changed into something evil by the suit, Venom introduced half-way in, Venom torments Spider-Man for the rest of the movie until Spider-Man and the New Goblin team up to kill Venom.
New Goblin never gets amnesia.
No Gwen Stacey.
End scene hints at rebirth of Venom and perhaps Carnage.
Yeah, I know that it changes the Venom origin story by making the symbiote a man-made synthetic organism, but if Peter Parker can get organic webs and Sandman can be Uncle Ben's real killer and the Green Goblin can wear a Power Rangers mask, then why not.

I was hoping they'd go the manufactured symbiote route in reference to the Ultimate Spider-man series, but instead we get random meteorite goops black stuff. oh well.

Look since this is pretty much a "dead issue" and really has no spoilers or point I am locking this down.
