didn't see the topic existing, so thought i'd thow it out ther
whats your favorite movies?
Personally I cant get enough of:
They live- "rowdy" Roddy piper as a homeless man fighting aliens. one of the best movers evar IMHO
Nightmare on elm St- all of them. freddy is the man
Dawn of the dead (the remake)- hey, it was an awesome zombie flick
Transformers the movie (the 80's one)- obligatory TF movie (and better than bay's stuff)
Deathrace 2000 (the original one from the 70's)- Stallone, carradine, and wanton violence. whats more to ask from a cheesy action flick

The Royal Tenenbaums has to be my favorite movie of all time. There's a lot going on this movie: family issues, drugs, cancer, stabbings, boobs and more, which all culminate in a very bitter sweet ending.
And OP, yeah Dawn of the Dead 2000 was awesome. Every part of that movie just didn't seem cheesy at all, not to mention it was the movie that INVENTED running zombies. They used to be all slow and tired. They should have called the movie Dawn of Zombies on Speed.

WHAT?!!!???!!!
I don't know which is scarier, honestly.
ANYWAY:
My pitiful list of movies I pop in when I'm having a crummy day:
Sahara, the 1942 Bogart war movie about a tank. *rowr*
A Midnight Clear
Winter War
All Quiet on the Western Front
Muppet Treasure Island
Tank Girl
Judge Dredd
Stalag 17
Gattaca
Raising Arizona
Apocalypse Now
Transformers the 07 movie (shut up I like beakyfais, okay?)
Pitch Black
Blazing Saddles
and if we're allowed to add series:
Blackadder
Red vs Blue.
HK, wow, my gender is EXTREMELY underrepresented in that list.

Probably The Notebook.
Robot Jox was fun because it was so cheesy. It was robot-on-robot action way before Michael Bay had a TF thought in his pea-sized brain.

I completely forgot about Robot Jox! That was a great movie! Well, great in a horrible way. I'm sure i just created a paradox somewhere.
If you're going to throw a TV series in:
Band of Brothers
Red vs Blue ----OF COURSE
Voltron

TF of course....

The only show that I actually watch(ed) and care(ed) about is Transformers Animated. I liked Naruto when it showed on CN. I watch what ever is on Nickalodean...mostly. Every thing on TV now adays fails...mostly again.

Oh, that was good! Denis Leary played a really awesome bad guy. The story was somewhat out there, but it was good. The only other movie I've seen Stephen Dorff in besides Blade.
