Reason I ask is because I have been planning on moving there with my girlfriend within the next few years and I was wondering if I could get pointers on where is the best place to move economically and environmentally. We don't like big cities and would like to move somewhere quiet but still have access to most things. Kinda like a mid-size town. But not on the coast. Between the coast and I-5. I am just not sure. Of course it also depends on possible job offers, but we're just in the beginning stages of planning, and having as much info as we can doesn't hurt...if anyone has observations or suggestions we'd appreciate it.
