I have a toolbar, but it tells me when they try to appear. I figured as much. The PC has only just has windows installed, im willing to bet it picked this up when the idiot who installed it downloaded the drivers.
Anyone know a good spyware purger?

Windows defender is surprisingly good, or there is Spybot-Search and destroy, or as Zuko said try ad-aware.
