Not far, though.
Turns out, we can no longer afford our Piece of **** House. So, we're getting a really nice apartment.
Features include:
Cable in every room
1540 sq ft
Four beds, two baths
Complex has TWO pools
And a gym!
Cats allowed
Dogs allowed, but only certain breeds (I.e. Not rotwiellers, pitbulls, etc.)
Central Air and Heating
There's a Blockbuster about a half a mile away where I could get a job.
And more!
It's bigger than out current house (Though, admittedly, it doesn't have the second floor or basement), and is nicer, and cheaper.
Double-you-tee-eff, man.
Here's a floor plan. The first bedroom is my dad's office, the second is mine, third is my sister's, and Master Bedroom is, of course, my parents.

Your "apartment" is larger than the ranch home I live in. Nice to be lucky isn't it?

I really have a hard time believing it's real. A nice apartment, nicer, even larger, than out house, and cheaper?
I keep thinking we're going to pull into a ditch, get some blankets, then start LIVIN' IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Now how are you going to explain that transforming vibrator to Mister Roper?

Nice catch.

Yeah, that's something I ran into when I was looking at apartments when I moved. It's a shame really; these "banned" breeds may have the worst reputations, but when I worked at a vet, they were some of the nicest animals we worked with. The worst were the little toy dogs, "footballs" I like to call them.
What utilities are included?

That's a pretty sweet place.

Utilities aren't included, apparently.
EDIT: rent is about $940/month, plus an extra $20/month to keep pets (I don't think there's a limit, though, on how many pets on can have.) along with a $200 deposit.
That little chihuahua who can't even poke the skin on a grape (EXAGGERATION) is costing us an arm and a leg. We still love her.
Plus, we're probably going to get a cat.

Very nice, Shadowman. I was just approved to move into my new apartment in South Carolina today, incidently.

My new home will be 1200 square feet, comes with a fireplace, garbage disposal, 9 foot ceilings, dishwasher, dryer/washer attachments. I'm on the second floor and get to keep my kitty.
It's located in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, and is located directly across from a park with a 4 mile running trail.
I can move in on the 10th of July.

Damn! Some of the Four-Bed apartments at my new complex have fireplaces, but we don't!
Next time, Ravage! NEXT TIME!!
At least we have a Gym, so I can drop the 40 pounds I was supposed to drop.
