Because you can get every detail from a cartoon when translating it into live action.

And yes, it was made in the UK.

This video kicks ass. Though they could've done a better couch gag, I guess it works well enough given that the whole thing is live action.

They did. It was on the episode where the guy from the British version of The Office guest starred. I think he also wrote the episode.
