Which Live Comedy Performances Have You Gone To?

Last night, I went to my first event in Green Bay, WI to see Jeff Dunham. It was frickin' hilarious. :)He used very little material that I've heard from watching his DVD's, and even introduced 2 new characters. The first was Diane, his first female. I get the feeling she was created in spite of his ex-wife, as they had quite the conversation about her many divorces. The second one was A.J. A.J. stands for Achmed, Jr. A.J. who is half blown up and has a British accent for some reason, forgot why, but he also is in to guys and converted to Judiasm. His interaction with Achmed, Sr is priceless. Was a great show, definitely worth the ticket price and the 2.5 drive there and back.

So what comedians have you seen live?

I saw Carrot Top live, quite some time ago (8-9 years??). This is before he had all the plastic surgery and got HUGE.

I thought he was great!

Last year, went to See Christopher Titus at the Brea improv (world-famous and only 20 minutes drive. 8) ). He was using the same material as his latest DVD, but I hadn't seen it yet so it was all new to me. He puts on a great live-performance and had the audience rolling.

I gone to watch a couple local based shows with nobody of note, but I've also gone to see Louis Black twice when he's come to town.

The only one I've seen was John Witherspoon from The Wayans Bros. Show. He had a few funny moments, but overall it was a waste of time. Besides, I was kinda dragged there. Good side is it was free and I also got a free meal out of it.

I was planning on seeing George Carlin with my cousin before he died (Carlin, not my cuz) but he ended up taking someone else. I was kinda pissed about that. And yeah, I'd like to see Titus and Jeff Dunham sometime. They're both hilarious.

I saw Bill Cosby when I was really young with my family. My wife and I watch Jeff Dunham any time we see one of his specials on tv and one day we will see him live.

I saw Conan O'Brien and Craig Ferguson last year. Both were excellent shows!

Jerry Seinfeld at the Fox Theater, Detroit, about 7 or 8 years ago. Great show!

Jerry: "So my girlfriend says "don't take that tone with me!", and I say "I didn't even know I was musical!".

Had the good fortune to see the Redneck Whirled Tour featuring Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable guy this past November at All State Arena in Chicago. We sat 6th row (!) and absolutely loved it. Our abs hurt for two days afterwards.
