Hello folks, been having an interesting time dealing with a scum of the earth balliff. Seems i owe £1000 from a fine a few years back, although they wont give me all the details. Anyway this parasite has been round to my PARENTS house threatening to remove goods etc, I DONT EVEN LIVE THERE. Phoned the office he works for and they will not accept anything other than the full amount. I'd really like to hurt the piece of s==t but i've a responsible job...having said that, we've yet to meet face to face :BOOM:

Any of you guys had any similar experiences? This is the UK so may be different elsewhere, i'd be interested to hear ANY experiences.

A bailif requires a court order in order to enter premises, in order to do that they have to go through court, and from the sounds of it, that hasn't happened.

If they don't provide full, accurate (and legal) documentation providing all the details, refuse to pay anything until they do so.

My advice is to wait for them to take you to court, if they have a legitimate claim.

Also, go to your local Citizens Advice Beauro, they will provide you with everything you need.

Passing thought - I seem to remember that they only have a certain window of time to take you to court...

i've an appointment for cit' advice tommorrow. This has been through a mickey mouse county court apparently, my mothers been receiving anonymous phone calls asking where i am too. This guys takin the p~#s :BANG_HEAD:
