Here's the news.

I never thought I'd actually be excited about a Bond movie, but Casino Royale was awesome. Hopefully this will be more of the same!

If its anything like the last movie, its gonna rock! Daniel Craig is a fantastic bond, and the story and directing of the last movie was second to none! I cant wait!

I hope that they bring back Bofeld (sp?) and Specter.
They did make hints that might happen in Casino Royale with mentions of "an organization" and that bald guy who cut the
seat out of the chair that Le Chiffe tortured Bond in could he be Bofeld or his son maybe.

James Bond has long needed his true arch-nemesis to return.

I've recently got into the Bond series (about 6 months ago) and seen all of the movies (including the 2 unofficial Bond movies). I thought Casino Royale was a pretty good Bond movie, but it wasn't my personal favorite. Danial Craig was good, but I didn't find him to be the best Bond (that honor still goes to Connery with Brosnan close in second place). I thought the movie was a little too serious and it tended to drag in places (clocking in at about 144min.).

I'm still looking forward to the next installment. If they're really trying to re-invent the whole Bond unverse, I hope they find a way to re-introduce Q and Moneypenny. I also hope they lighten the mood a little bit for the next installment. I think we could use a little bit of a lighter Bond who's not overly serious (I totally disagree on what Barbara Brocolli said in the DVD interview).

One last thing, I tought the movie had a great ending.

I'm the exact opposite. Keep it just as serious as CR was. I don't like my assassins acting goofy for 2 hours. No super gadgets. No Q. Just Bond, his gun, a realistic enemy and a gorgeous chick.

One thing though. I thought they killed Mathis in CR. At least that is what I thought was being implied.

No. Bond turned him in to MI-6 for questioning. He even says at the end when he's on the phone with M, "We just proved that she's guilty, not that he's innocent. Keep sweating him."

Ah thank you much. That was one thing I had trouble with when watching CR. There was a lot of accents and mumbling and because of that I think I missed bits of the story.

I wouldn't mind some gimmicky accesories. Such as the chip scanner, and the defibrillator, you know, without the excessive goofiness.

I mean CR was excellent and I realize they're trying to revitalize Bond, but to close the door completely on the past and what laid the groundwork before it...is stupid.

I think there could be a good balance between the out there and the realistic.

Hell, real spies do use things like camera pens and what not. I think a guy, running around with a gun, with a grudge for 2.5 hours without something to break that up will become boring very quick.

There was just enough of the fantastical to make everyone happy.
