Now, I've ben a victim of bulying all my live.
One of the worst bulys ever made my live a misery since pre-schul, Now 4 years after He left shool (he's a yeart older than me, I'm out of that schul for 3 years).
I just found out that he got drunk and went racing with a tuned scoter on the Autoban ( German moutorway no speed limit, dangerus!) and got killed as he got infrant of a Truck a wile back!
As I heared this I didn't feel sory for him, but sayd serves you right ******************.

Does this make me a bad person, even if he humiliated me?

There is an undeniably understandable reason for your feelings. Few people will mourn those who tormented them. I, personally, do not fault you for not feeling sad in any way, shape or form.

How much joy you should feel, however, is another topic. I am not given to celebrating the deaths of others no matter how abhorrent I find their thoughts and behaviour to be because it goes against my principles.

Were I in your position I wouldn't be sad at all. I wouldn't propose a toast for the occasion, though. I think the closest thing to sadness I would experience would be a brief reflection upon death in general. It is a strange thing, after all.

This does not make you a bad person. Why I, myself, have thrown parties celebrating the various deaths and misfortunes that befell my enemies.

Thanks for not hating me. I only feel bad for the truckdriver since he has to live with the feeling to have klilled someone.
Usaly I feel sad for every death I hear of, just not this time.

No one's going to hate you for it, though you should be careful.

It's understandable to feel no real sorrow for what happened because of all of the abuse and all of the anger he created for you.

Receiving enjoyment out of it though, is pushing it too far. That's inhuman and cruel. It's enough that the person died, but to actually celebrate and applaud it...no. That's beyond bad taste and being humane.

No sorrow= normal.
Celebrate it= bad.

Think of it this way...to embrace and be happy with the idea of such a thing, lowers you to the level of what made you hate them. Don't be like the person they were, rise above it and move on with life. If anything, learn a lesson from this:

Life's too short to focus on hatred and being angry and wishing people dead or reveling in it. Do your best to life a full and happy life and share it with those who matter most.

EDIT: Not saying you enjoyed it. I was generalizing. Sorry for any confusion that might've caused.

You are bad if u continue to hate him. Way i see it if he was a real **** then the score has been settled, and he is even now, so to continue to feel bitter about a settled score is nasty.

It is closed, let it go, and its all good.

He has paid his due, with extra

...I didn't say you did. ...no one did.

So much for me trying to make someone's day a little brighter in such a bleak instance. Next time I'll just keep my mouth shut.

No it made u human-if u continue to blacken his name after his death it makes u bitter and if u wish him missery even in death or other unnessecary pain-then yeah that makes u bad.

Once his dedt is paid (in this case with death) then it all gets reset to zero-if u continue the bad blood, then it all lnds squarly at ur feet-because, lets face it-hes dead!

Let him burn in hell. For what he did to you, he deserved to die. You have no reason to feel bad.

OK, just a LITTLE extreme?

I'm not saying that he didn't deserve an ass whoopin'. But being squashed by a truck? :???:

I'd agree with the general opinion though. Not feeling sad is a normal reaction.

Now if you decide to throw a party, you've probably got a few too many issues. ;)

i am sorry for you

we are all bad, we should be humble enough to accept it. we are naturally sinner in nature. but its not a sin to be born this way. what's sin is when we die still a sinner. life's a choice. we've got to choose! choose the light! choose to be a freeman. free those slaves! freedom from sin! peace!

While I won't rejoice over anyone's demise, the guy was drunk. My sympathies would lie with the truck driver. Regardless, you should feel glad that the bastard didn't kill anyone else, as for not feeling bad, everyone mourns differently.

I've often wondered how I'd feel if a girl who wasn't particularly nice to me carked it. I realised, I wouldn't care either way, just like I don't burst into tears when complete strangers are listed in the obits.

Death is a very personal thing, greif is different to every person, you have every right to feel nothing, just as you do to feel glad, or sorry. As long as you didn't go piss on the guy's grave, I don't think you should worry too much.

You have no reason nor obligation to grieve for him besides, but some to celebrate-- the jerk got his due. A bit of an inside chuckle, but any big celebration would just draw feelings from his family, whom with you would seemingly have no beef.

No, you're not a bad person, just normal.

Being a "bad person" is relative. We are not your jury.

But if you ask me, I believe a little bit of reflection is always in order when nature takes it's course.

Does it matter? By evolutionary standards you have thus far proven yourself the superior specimen by having outlived the twat. You're better than him, and have earned the privilege of being able to speak ill of the dead.

I say laugh 'til it hurts.

I was bullied quite a bit at my primry schools, by a bunch of girls  And I know how horrible it is, if I went to a teacher they'd just laugh at me and say every single time:

"Stop telling tales, they're only girls, I bet its because they fancy you!"

At which point I felt like hitting them because they were ugly girls!!!

But anyway, not feeling grief for this ****** doesn't make you a bad person, I know that if any of the people who bullied me died, I would't feel a thing. Except a slight bit of happiness :)
Besides, the guy was drunk, you shouldn't drive when you are drunk, because something is almost guaranteed to go wrong, which it did. The people you should feel sorry for are the truck driver who has to live with the death on his conscience and the dead guys family, because although he was a t**t to you, his family may not know he was like that and will be deeply upset by his death.
Anyway, I'm done with this post, I'm going to go ruin this nice calm peaceful reflection by going and saying something immature in another topic somewhere :D

Thanks again for your posts!
Yea the truckdriver is the only one I feel sorry for.
Now if this would happen to every body who has ever bulied me, my vileage would be the next place to make a new Resident Evil movie!

Oh, I did. Just then.

In answer to DM... totally not. It's totally understandable that you not be adversely affected by the death, and even, considering what he put you through, to briefly take some satisfaction in it.
But the satisfaction was an immediate, subconscious reaction, and by the sounds of it, you quickly regretted it.

It's kind of like a more extreme version of watching someone fall over. When it first happens, your first reaction will almost certainly be laughter, whether you want it to be or not. But if you're any kind of a decent person, the next stage is checking they're alright.

As many have said, in these instances it's always the innocent victims (in this case, the truck driver) that gets my sympathy most.

Man has no love for his enemies. I wouldn't mourn a fallen enemy. I too would say they got what's coming.

Same thing happened to my actually. Only the bully only bothered me for 1 year.

For some reason, he left our school (either transferred or started "home-schooling"). Anyway, he made quite a few friends with my classmate, but felt the urge to antagonize me (which made him all the more likeable in everyone elses eyes, but that's a different story), so anyway.

So after he left, he got drunk one night and went for a cruise doing about 100 mph or more, with his lights off.

As it turned out, there just happened to be a tanker truck in front of him. He slammed into the rear end of the truck full force, killing him instantly, and then roasting his body to crisp.

I, like Smooth, rejoiced in the news when I heard it. However, come a month after graduating High School, I turn to the end of my year book. That's when I see what the committee (all his friends) did.

So now I have a big picture of the ass in my year book. Serves me right I guess (if you believe in karma). Of course, I could always tear that page out, but he can't come back from the dead, so I count myself ahead on that one.
