A good online custom robot game? I remember playing a fun little free 3d online robot fighting game on Miniclip a few years ago..You drove around wheeled robots and fought to the death. It was nothing spectacular, but you could still make and customize pretty neat robots. I was wondering if anyone could remember what it was? Or knows of any other 3D custom robot combat games?

Well, there's this game called One Must Fall: Battlegrounds, which had fighting robots in a 3D arena with hazards. The support for that game has long been pulled, sales weren't that good, and thanks to publishers not wanting to invest the game had many bugs upon release.
Its predecessor One Must Fall 2097 from 1994 is more Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat like, dunno if it can be still be played online 1-on-1. It even has a Tournament Mode in which you can upgrade the robot the further you get and the best thing is: the whole game is free! However, you do need a DOS emulator to play, I recommend DOSBox.
