I just want to send out my condolences to the family of Deputy Hilery Mayo. Deputy Mayo was an outstanding deputy and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by myself and the law enforcement family he left behind. God Speed!

I use to be ROTC, so it makes me feel sad that another man in the Uniform died. Sorry to hear, and I feel sorry for the less of him to his family.

I hate to break the news to you guys and gals, but another St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Deputy died today while on duty. Deputy Linden "Beau" Raimer was in the funeral procession for another deputy who died over the weekend when a strong thunderstorm hit knocking a tree down on top of his unit. Deputy Raimer died from his injuries at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and his passenger Deputy Marilyn "Mary" Mayo was transported to Tulane Hospital in New Orleans where she is being treated for severe spinal damage. Below is a photo of Deputy Raimer's unit after the storm. Please keep these deputies and their families in your prayers. Thanks!
