Zwat iz zis!? Halo movie? Impozzibil.

Thats right people, there just may be a Halo Movie in the making, and THIS SITE says it all!

It will supposedly be released in 2012-2013, and people have already started to look for places to film!

Halo: Fall of Reach will be the name of it, and, surprisingly, it appears that it won't be made on the events of Halo: Reach, but the first game instead.

Several sites have reported on this news, which sort of supports the credibility as a fact.

The people making this movie still has to get toy rights from McDonalds and Burger King to create toys that will promote it before filming can begin.

Yes. They want Halo toys in Kids Meals.

This is waaaaaaay old news. The movie was supposed to be directed by Neill Blomkamp and produced by Peter Jackson. But the budget got way too inflated and the studio canned it. What resources they had ended up going to all of those live-action Halo commercials, and Blomkamp and Jackson went on to make District 9 instead.

Anyway, that is very, very unfortunate that it was canned, well, I hope that there still is hope!

I remember when halo 2 came out and it was announced. i was so psyched for it, i still am but thanks to your post i did do a little researching and it looks like it might be going through. one can only hope.

They are making a short film of sorts.

That, I think, is a fan film. Look at the credits at the bottom. Bungie and 343 Industries aren't mentioned, but the Machinima.com logo is there.
