This time around (again

) we’re going to Portland, Newport, and Roseburg…it’s to Oregon!

I'm not the vacationing type. If I ever take a week off, I'm just sticking around the house and relaxing, and probably catching up on work around the house.

Well, I graduated in '07, so the past four years have been vacation for me.
That said, usually one week and/or weekend in July me and my family go to this quiet little town for this weird small-town celebration thing they have. In my nearly 22 years of life, I've missed it once, and that one time felt really weird. Fun, relaxing, candy, get to see relatives you don't see for most of the year.

Penny Arcade Expo. Started by the guys who make the Penny Arcade webcomic, and one of the two biggest gaming conventions in the world.

Personally I've always wanted a scuba diving trip either in Hawaii, the Caymans or Australia.
One of these days I'll have enough money to go.
Most of the time I head to the middle of BC where the family has a summer home on a lake front.

I’d love to go back east and see everything…but I can’t do that (and this is going to sound horrible) till my “grandfather” (again horrible) dies, now you’re thinking Godzillabot is insane, but if you knew what I go through…oh believe me you’d think the same
oh I feel so much lighter!
Okay back on a lighter note
I’ve always wanted to see New Zealand and Australia

BotCon will be our vacation this year. My GF, 2 of our friends, and myself are taking a road trip across the country from Georgia to Pasadena with a few stops in between. I have it planned to last 12-13 days. I love road trips.

I actually have it planned to move to Oregon in a couple of years when my girl finishes college. I've been to the West Coast Before and loved it. I'd love to live there.

On a more serious note. Oregon is great, and a lot of great places to live there.

Who says that wasn't my dream? I can see the appeal of seeing the world and going places, but if you're content where you are why change anything?

As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to go to England, and I'd also really like to go to Ireland with my best friend (who also really wants to go). Oh, and after I (hopefully) learn Japanese, JAPAN!! But as for real life, I'm going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with a bunch of friends soon.

Most of my vacations involve a long weekend and going to a convention. Not one for taking too long off. Big vacation goals include going to DragonCon (big convention in Atlanta) and attending the August night race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

I'm with you on that, to me vacations are more hassle than they're worth. When you factor in all the money, airline security, hotel booking, and packing it ruins the whole experience. There are a few places I'd like to go, but my time and money are better spent staying at home, buying a few video games and transformers, and doing as little as possible.
