Where's Escape from New York and Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness?

Ravage's top ten favorite movies that kick ass and chew bubblegum are:

1.) A Clockwork Orange
2.) Planet of the Apes (original, with the Chuck)
3.) Scarface
4.) Army of Darkness
5.) Escape from New York
6.) Aliens
7.) Enemy at the Gates
8.) Full Metal Jacket
9.) Raiders of the Lost Ark
10.) You've Got Mail (yeah, right. Try Team America.)

It can be both.

Die Hard no.1 ?! It's good and everything, but I can think of ten action movies that are better. Terminator 2 would be my number 1 pick.

I'm glad Predator made the list.

And yeah I can certainly see Die Hard being number 1. It's my favorite in that genre.

Regardless of how awesome we all think it is, it's really not that well known of a movie. Most have heard of it but a lot have never seen it. **** I hadn't even seen it until last year when I picked up the Special Edition of it.

Also forgot "The Terminator". None of the melty-robot ****, just plain old Michael Biehn versus a robot from the future goodness. And Linda Hamilton's boobies.

Just watched the original Die Hard the other night for the umpteenth time, and can safely say it deserves it's place in the number one spot.

For the most part, I was pleased with EW's choices, although I did have a similar reaction to the inclusion of The Incredibles.

Just glad to see Robocop, Aliens, and Gladiator on that list.

Escape from NY and Escape from LA are almost the same movie. They have the exact same plot, the villians are almost the same and the the government characters are almost clones.

My additions to the list:

The Crow
The Terminator (instead of T2)
First Blood or First Blood Pt. 2
From Dusk till Dawn
and even though it's new and not terribly accurate, 300
