Has anyone else checked out the advance review of the Voltron script that Latino Review did? If not, you can see it here:

Y'know, I really hope this movie gets made. One, it sounds REALLY good. Two, I think it'll really up the ante for the Transformers sequel, when/if it happens. But I love the vibe they're going for here, and the changes seem to make a lot of sense. If the production design and director are equal to the challenge, it could be a really good movie.

Wow. Could Transformers open the door for big robot movies from Hollywood? Wow. Imagine a slew of big budget giant robot flicks... Yeah, this could be good.

Wow!! that script sounds F***'IN Awsome!!! Yeah, the vibe of this sounds really on the mark. I like how it takes a sci-fi element to it properly. Until then, i guess i have my DVDs and my imagination!

I'm all over this like flies on sh*t.

It sounded a little odd at first (what with cryo-stasis, Earth, and whatnot) but as I got into the review...yeah.

This could be one stellar piece of film. Plus Pharrell is doing the score. If someone that cool has signed on to add to it, he must really like the film. Sounds to me that it's going to kick our collective ass and we'll enjoy every bruise.

Can anyone give me the skinny on the script? I assume this is the lion Voltron, right? CGI? Live action?

The link in the first post leads to a review of the script, and does a lot better version of explaining. But, in a nutshell...

The setting is post apocalyptic, humanity was defeated in a war that lasted only one day. The various members of the Voltron force meet up and start the quest for the five lions. But to get the real flavor of the script, you should read the descriptions and so on. It sounds like a really well done script.

Sounds really cool. I like the new twists on the story, and this should really throw down the giant **** robot gauntlet. Bay & co. will have their hands full trying to top it with Transformers 2.

So basically the story has been moved to our earth. That sounds cool. But lets wait to pop the cork on the champagne until we see the lions.
