Always a fun question.
Nevermind if it's a TF name, you probably have a reason for picking just that TF. Otherwise (in my case), explain away!
Mine comes form a comic:

I usurped my moniker from e-hobby Alternator Rijie, which happens to be Mirage's Japanese title, used for several incarnations of our favorite reluctant, invisible, turbofox-hunting soldier.
Mirage, originally, was a Ford F1 Indy car. E-hobby Rijie is a Ford GT40...
So, it is a chosen homage to my employer.
Subliminal advertising at its finest.

When I made my account, animated Prowl was my favorite character. I chose the numbers '123' because my memory sucks and I would forget any other number.

I was born with a flipper-claw for a left hand. Instead of fingers I'm stuck with 4 useless nubs. One day somehow I got the idea to combine that with the Earthworm Jim character Evil the Cat. I added the underscores because a lot of websites don't allow spaces in usernames.

I couldn't decide if I liked Optimus Prime better than Ultra Magnus, so I combined their names into one word. I used to have a random "10" connected to the end of it that meant absolutely nothing (seriously I don't know why I put it there), so I changed it to simply "OptiMagnus" this year.

If u know what a Buick Grand National is or an 89 Turbo Trans AM, my name is self explanatory.
For those who don't know, the engine in the above cars is a Buick v6 displacing 3.8 liter's and turbocharged.
so if u stroll across my name somewhere on the net, it probably is me lol

If you don't know where my name comes from, go read some Marvel UK Transformers comics, specifically Target: 2006.

Well, I used to go by slayer in laser tag, until fancy usernames came around and it's always taken. I have always found the shoop da whoop pictures hilarious, thus, i combined the two. Have to say, I have never seen it anywhere else, so it's probably me you are seeing.

I just thought about what sounded cool to me. Also, i end many of my usernames with 23. Don't know exactly why...

My story is kind of funny. It started out with just JelZe, a combination of my first and last name, hence the two capitals. I was playing a game called
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 at the time, I'm sure some of you remember the "little rabbit with a big gun" from 1994. My bunny for online playing was orange and yellow, so later I added "GoldRabbit". And the rest is history.
So why does my current avatar have pink hair, and why did I keep the "GoldRabbit" part? Simple: thanks to my nick many viewed me as a girl, and I'm a furry fan. I'll let you think about those two things

My original screen name was Autobot32. My email address the same name and everything. My then girlfriend hacked into my email account and locked me out of it. (I had PayPal attached to it at that point and she didn't trust me.)
I had to open a new account, get Autobot032, and change everything else. (Oh and I kicked the bitch to the curb. Christmas Eve, no less.)
It's stuck like this, ever since.

Mine comes form a comic:

the mind boggles with the thought!
My original user name was Kaiser Convoy - it was part of a complete alternate universe that i had started to create, but never finished it...
i went on hiatus for a good while and came back and decided to rename my account after a character i had in a previous version of the TF:Seibertron RPG - Baneblade, which was taken from the Games Workshop Forgeworld Tank kit

When I first started surfing the internet, I joined a local SW gaming group called the Radiant Knight. I was the fifth one to join and my handles was Striker. So...
Radiant Knight Striker Jedi Knight 5. It's my handle on most forums.

My name is rather awkward and sounds TERRIBLE when you say it out loud but it sort of sums up what type of TF's i like and also incorporates a bit of my love for horror.
With the grotusque part of my name, it also pays a little homage to the anti-hero archetype that i identify with and am a fan of. The Monsterbots fill that profile quite nicely.

Biddybot comes from my fondness for Beasties/Beast Wars, as in: if I were a bot in the Beasties universe, I'd be a gnarly old female chicken or 'biddy', hence Biddybot. I'm also a 'biddy' in real life--I'm a gnarly old human female--so the name is doubly appropriate!
Unfortunently, I don't think a single person has ever picked up on either aspect, so as usernames go, it's a total failure--I STILL get mistaken as male and I've yet to hear a chicken crack. I've had better luck with my other two usernames, Heimchen and Pretty Katydid. Some folks have expressed that they do know what a 'Heimchen' is, both in its literal and figurative sense, and katydids are pretty much katydids, even when one's the subject of a certain classic poem...("I love to hear thine earnest voice...")...

Going back 10 years now...
In high school, a friend started an e-zine that had a message board. There, the discussion degenerated into some modest cyberbullying (before it was a fad!

), like when someone posted my home address on a gay Yahoo singles board, with directions, and said I like surprise visits! Good times! (For the record, there were no visits

)
After the web site closed, these guys brought back the message board, which I avoided for a bit, but people where wondering where I went. So when I caved and registered, I chose the grammatically incorrect "It His Him." My friends welcomed me back with open arms, and immediately shared an image of The Receiver from Goatse.xe, blown up to fill the entire screen. (A note for our younger readers: if you don't know what that is... don't google it!)

I re-googled it.
It still packs punch.

I wanted Wreckgar or Wreck-gar but unfortunately they were gone

I chose retransforms because of my blog. It is an anagram of transformers and also because I have renewed interest and mainly collect the Classics/Universe stuff the 're' seemed appropriate!
