Featuring the escapades of Ben Skywalker, Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo. Would it work?

Somehow, after having seen the prequel trilogy, I highly doubt it.

I'm sure Lucas would love the extra money, but they have just launched The Old Republic for that purpose!

So in short, a Trilogy of Trilogies? Then I have one word to say:

No.

No, because Lucas would insist on writing it and that would completely **** things over.

Plus are you talking all four grand-Skywalker kids together or across a number of years? Be hard to do them together given the age differences and the whole Jacen and Anakin being dead before Ben is old enough to become a decent Jedi.

I've read Lucas wants to make a new tv-series that takes place post-Jedi Returns, and I can only hope Lucas leaves the lead writing to anybody but himself...

ON: I'd be more than happy to see Expanded Universe movies.

Seriously? I thought that series was meant to bridge the gap between III and IV.

Also, no I wouldn't care. The prequels and Lukas's insistence to further ruin the original trilogy have put me off of Star Wars for good. I can't even look at Darth Vader any more without hearing him cry his whiny no no like a stupid little kid.

Darth Vader never whined "no" in the original trilogy, at least not before the "Special Editions".

Back when TESB came out George did announce this before her pulled back years later

I would like to see a 7,8 and 9 be made with a older Luke as a Jedi Master

Luke did, though, several times. Obi-Wan did several times as well, and Obi-Wan was the best Jedi ever. And there are a ton of non-Star Wars examples.

So, did I mention them?

Kinda looks like I'm complaining about Darth Vader, and not Luke or Obi-Wan.
You know Darth Vader, the guy in the black suit and cape who was described as being a cold killing machine?

You missed my point entirely. My point is that it's a recurring theme for characters--including three of the most powerful Jedi in the franchise--to shout that out.

Also, Vader was little more than Starscream with a deep voice and a Lightsaber. I wouldn't describe him as a cold killing machine, because he was a Sith Lord, their strength comes from their rage and hate.

Expanded stories (i.e. the comics) and decades of scaring young kids gave him that reputation.

But Lucas ruined it by revealing he was nothing more than an upset emo kid with anger management issues.

Add the Force and a Lightsaber to that, and you just defined half the Sith Lords ever.

And you're missing my point entirely, Darth Vader was not one of them, he was like a robot which made him cool. Try and get the second DVD releases of the original trilogy and watch the original versions of the movies (well as original as it gets considering that the only change made to them was renaming Star Wars Episode IV A new hope). And then show me where Darth Vader shows any kind of emotion.

OH, OK never heard of that one. Still, based on that article it does not sound very interesting to me, I'll just ignore it like the rest.

The problem with Vader showing emotion is that his face doesn't move, so you have to pick it out of his voice. Fortunately, his voice is often dripping with emotion. Watch the opening, on the Tantive IV, and pay attention to Vader's voice. He is very clearly angry during much of that scene.

Yes, he's angry. Which is about as emotional as he gets. He does not cry in the originals, like he does now, which is why I said I didn't like him crying.

I don't see why me complaining about Darth Vader now being whiny is wrong due to Luke and Obi-Wan being whiny at times?

Explain to me please why you felt the need to justify Darth Vader as "always" having been winy by pointing out that Luke and Star Wars unrelated characters sometimes cry. Please do.

And no I don't care that I wrote "any kind of emotion" instead of "feelings of sadness".

Okay, now do me a favor and actually watch Episode III. He doesn't cry. He flies into a rage, crushes everything in the room aside from himself and Palpatine, then screams out "NO!" He doesn't cry, that's just hyperbole from people bitching about that scene.

...No. Just, no. I never said they "sometimes cry." I said they scream out "NO" in every movie. Just like they use the phrase "I have a bad feeling about this," or "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away."

Also, why are you so annoyed that I have grown out of Star Wars and have decided to no longer waist my time and money on it?
