I mean seriously, I know kids get out of hand sometimes, but this is nonsense.

I have kids that make noise, and this just seems like nonsense.

The neighbor next door seems like an ass imho. I understand the right to want quiet, but if he works all day and their in the pool during work hours.

When do these people hear these kids?

If you listen to the taped sounds of the kids playing.
It sounds like a lot more then two kids playing in a pool.

But you are damn right to many retirees, who cant even drive straight, not talking about driving right. LOL. I got cutt off by a grandma, with huge glasses on, driving an old old Buick. LOL

The tape did sound like more than two little girls so it makes you wonder if it was legitimate or not. I don't have kids but all of my neighbors do. I'm sometimes home during the day when they're outside playing and they make a lot of noise but the trains, cars on the highway and my music usually drown them out

Bottom line is: kids are kids and I seriously doubt two little girls can make so much noise. I'm betting there's something more to this and the neighbors have other reasons for not liking this family but are hiding behind the "noise issue".

Funny, I was smashing large wooden objects with a hammer for the past couple of days. It sounded remarkably like gunshots. I even did it on purpose when people drove by. And no one complained.

Yeah, 9pm is pretty much the time it kicks in. These people are just anal.

You've got to be kidding me. Some people I swear will complain about anything.

I've listened to that recording about 20 times now. At about 2.13 seconds into the recording I can make out 4 maybe 5 different people making noise. Hell I imported the file into Goldwave and that picked up 7 different voices/pitches/tones at that same point. Fact is there is no way that only two girls were making all that noise.

Total and utter bullshit. I'm so glad I don't live in one of those communities. I'll take the cornfield out back over an asshole neighbor any day of the week.

So basically they took a recording which lasts 30 minutes.

And in those 30 minutes there's at least more than 2 voices. 30 minutes out of an entire day, out of an entire week, out of an entire summer, and they base their case on that.

I'm so glad the Judge threw it out of court. Now if only he could slap something on the neighbours for wasting the courts time.
