Anyone watch the 2 part current season finale of Gotham?

it was really good....first of all we got the reveal of Ra's Al Ghul played by Alexzander Siddig(Dr Julian Bashir-Star Trek DS9), then Bruce killed Alfred....buuutt...Bruce used water from the Lazarus Pit to revive him(we've seen Lazarus Pit & revives with it before...on Arrow), then we see Butch is shot dead....and later on find out his real name is Cyrus Gold(Solomon Grundy), we also see Selina Kyle use a whip(foreshadowing her becoming full Catwoman), meanwhile Penguin redecorates Fish Mooney's place(who btw made a brief reappearance before biting the dust) to make way for the Iceberg Lounge with a Frozen(thanks to Victor Fries) Riddler as its centrepiece

all in all....a great ending to the current season

I saw Wonder Woman yesterday afternoon, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was much better than Suicide Squad, and definitely much better than that clusterf**k Batman vs. Superman. It wasn't perfect, but for an origin story, it was very good. Hopefully if there is a sequel it will elaborate on Diana's life between WWI and present day. I would like a true sequel instead of just having her appear in some Justice League movies. Speaking of which, I saw the preview for the Justice League movie for the 1st time, and I was not impressed at all. Looks like it will be much like Dawn of Justice was, only worse, due to having more characters be wasted in it. Anyway, as far as Wonder Woman goes, I recommend it, it's a pretty good action film, origin story, and war movie. The final battle is a bit lackluster, but Ares was never really a big deal as a villain. It's the best movie DC has put forth so far. I still think their extended universe will be rushed and therefore a complete mess, but this film will stand out as a positive. And of course, Gal Gadot. :x =P~ At 1st I wasn't impressed that she was selected for the role, because I was used to Lynda Carter, who was a bit...fuller, but she did the role justice (no pun intended) and of course she's very easy on the eyes. This was a good movie.

I just saw Justice League. It was alright, but compared to the Avengers it was a mess. DC really should have made stand alone films for the characters first, like Marvel did. And Steppenwolf reminded me of Bayverse Megatron from RoTF.

Yes, this is a cartoon, but I thought I'd drop this off to hear your thoughts. Personally, I really think this looks like a cool take on Batman.

If I want to read, I'll pick up a book. I despise subtitles.

No English, no interest.

CW's crossover episodes Crisis On Earth X was a better Justice League than the cinematic one! evil versions of the CW characters + nazis, and the sad loss of one of the CW characters(even though previously the actor did state....not in the show but in an article...that they were leaving the show....or taking some time out

I bought Justice Leauge on digital today. I'm half way through it.

I'm not impressed. So far, "wasted potential" seems to sum it up best.

I saw it in theaters, and I wasn't impressed. I didn't hate it, because based on both Batman vs. Superman as well as Suicide Squad I had low expectations. I think that in their haste to try to catch up to Marvel, DC is not taking their time to properly develop these stories and characters. If they had done it like Marvel did and made movies for the individual characters first, Justice League would have been much better.

I always thought that B vs. S should have been just Man of Steel 2, with either Doomsday or Batman as the villain. He's a dark enough character to cross that line, as long as he comes back by the end, thus resulting in the formation of the League. But both JL and B vs. S had the same problem, they tried to cram too much into them. If Wonder Woman and its sequel came out before Justice League, along with Aquaman and B vs. S, it would have been a better constructed movie universe, like Marvel.

What I'm about to do, I know I shouldn't do it. I know it's going to be painful, but it needs to be done so my disdain is from an informed area.

If you don't see me again ... just know Justice League got to me.

P.S. I've unbanned duragrip and Jason5Billion and given them Admin powers. They're in charge now, please help them find their feet RP and Cobes.
-edit-
Okay I survived, admittedly I also caught up on some sleep via multiple 1 minute dozes.
It was a lot more tolerable than Batman vs Superman, but still not a great movie. The CGI just seemed off everywhere, and the overall story was:
- Track down other metas
- Bring them together, throw in some "tension"
- Bring back Superman
- Take fight to bad guy while waiting for Superman to get his **** together.

And that's it. And it was to get to each stage.

Character wise, Barry Allen is nothing like his comic book self, nor is Aquaman.
Heck, Batman even tried making jokes and may have smiled at one point.
Superman was just ... there. There's very little in the way of character to discuss because he just comes back to life, goes a little nutty because he's been dead, gets his **** together, beats up bad guy.
Cyborg, while different from comic self, you can put that down to him still finding his way with his abilities.
But once again, Wonder Woman is the stand out. It seems she's the only thing DC are doing right with these movies.

Not a fan of the DC live action movies (really prefer their animated movies) but I have been sucked into their DC TV-verse.

Love Arrow when it 1st aired now its seem to have just died..last nights episode for instance, just horrible but seeing as I have not read too many Green Arrow comics, I'm not sure where there going with this story arc..

The Flash as become my go to DC show (still waiting for them to finally get to the Impulse arc) but Black Lightning is quickly (pun intended) surpassing Flash.

Legends of Tomorrow is hit or miss. I really did not like how they wrote off Firestorm but he was getting very little screen time with even the Jax center stories being so so. Its nice that Kid Flash is getting a bit more screen time but still being under used and under rated. I will say the Crisis on Earth X cross over was really cool.

Supergirl is also hit or miss, mostly due to the time slot. When Lucifer is airing, Supergirl gets sidelined.

Not a fan of Gotham at all after season 1. Not at all the same show that was pitched.

Wouldn’t Superman be faster than The Flash because he can fly?

It seems like Superman would not have to worry about friction and traction when he’s flying, so he subject to less resistance.

Superman should easily beat Flash.

Depending on how much it is, I might get that new DC Universe streaming service when it launches so I can watch the new live-action Titans and Swamp-Thing shows. The on-set photos for Titans didn't impress me all that much, Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven look horrendous, but Robin, Hawk and Dove are pretty decent. When I saw that Cyborg wasn't in the cast, the idea flickered in my mind for a split second that this show would turn out to be in the DC movie universe, and Ray Fisher would appear as Cyborg at some point. That probably won't happen, but it would be good to see nonetheless because I ended up liking the DCEU Cyborg.

Yeah it won't as it'll be like the reverse of what's happened to deathstroke on arrow, he's become off limits thanks to his appearance at the very end of justice league.

Is Deathstroke better than Deadpool because he came first?
