Okay, is there anyone that watches this? I haven't, but I know the premise. Electricity just stops working across the world, right? And everybody just throws up their hands and says "Okay, time to stop using electricity!"
Yeah I don't get it. I mean, unless you're going to say "It's aliens," there's no reason any damage couldn't simply be fixed? I'm really curious, but the premise just seems dumb to me.

It is acutally a pretty decent show. One of the few worth watching this season. There is a reason for the blackout, one they haven't explained yet. Something that keeps the power from working even in batteries. I am enjoying it a lot.

It's like a perpetual EMP.
But unfortunately for the show it's falling into that category of "super big mystery which will never get explained because people have short attention spans so the show will get cancelled due to poor ratings and the story will never get fully told"

^ I was wondering if it was going to be something like that. That's one hell of an EMP though to cover the entire world flawlessly, lol.
Of course, that's exactly what I was referring to when I said the premise sounded..realistically weak. I mean, the enormity in power draw and size of the machine that would be required to pull that off would be kind of...unmissable, and 15 years is a LONG time for a machine like that to run without glitches.
Unless of course...

No, not aliens. They're in the process of explaining WHO created the blackout (here's a hint, it's some of the main cast!) but they're yet to get to the why.

*****SPOILER*****
It has something to do with the pendants. After the last episode, there was a group of 13 working on a continual, non expiring energy source that ends up doing just the opposite. Instead of providing eternal electricity, it sucks it up. Then the Department of Defense get's a hold of it and we're still waiting for more information on what happened.

I did see the last episode, just because I was curious.

What day is it on again?

It's coming back, and Monroe has power! We'll just have to wait and watch to see how it ends up.
