Locust just got a new car

Finally decided it was time to trade in my old car and get a new one. But past that initial hesitancy, it was all surprisingly simple. A lot of signatures, a down payment, and a surprising realization that my credit rating was higher than expected later, and I'm driving home in a brand new car.
It's nothing too fancy, but it's nice to know I could afford a 2007 model so new that I put more miles on it on the drive home than it had to start with.

Whatcha think?

You mean something like this?

One of my first attempts at pic alteration. Done with MSPaint.

If I saw that driving down the street I'd probably crap myself with fear.
Congratulations on the new car though!

Didn't even notice. Although Swindle's more of a Saturn style car. But, no-joke, I was considering driving home in movie Jazz (a solstice) the entire time.

Nice little Pontiac.
I would have gotten a Civic coupe, myself. But still, not too shabby.

I love those G5's. Though I wish they came in more robust colors. I mean come on you have to at least sell a blue! And isn't the G5 the same body as a Cobalt and Ion? If it is I can say from experience they're good for the price you pay.

I wouldn't know. Technically my color is called "Stealth gray". I'm assuming the stealth part is involved in actually trying to find some gray.

Which one did you go with, the base or GT line? I know this model is new for 07 so I cannot offer much advice on it.
Grats on the new set of wheels tho ^^

Nothing too fancy. It's a base model. although compared to my now-traded Sunfire, it's a luxury car.

I'd take my Sunfire back any day man. Don't get me wrong, the Cobalt, G5, Ion are much more comfortable, but damn that Sunfire was sooooo reliable.

I cannot argue with that in the least. My sunfire was reliable and it wasn't so much the car that needed repairs (the engine ran fine) as it was the secondary systems. The A/C was out, the radio broke, the Brake module needed replacing. Replacing all that stuff would've cost me as much as the car was worth.

Oh I know that too well. In the span of a month I ended up replacing the fuel pump, the front brake pads and all four tires....I crashed it into the back of an Ion on route 2 going 42 mph about 2 weeks later. Gave the engine a 4 inch deep haircut. His plastic bumper literally did a cross section on my engine compartment....All I knocked off was his muffler...Sheesh.

I've been living in Azeroth (World of Warcraft) and attending college. Moved out with my boyfriend a year ago and looking for a summer job possibly at an auto parts store. I've also been working on my KITT replica in my spare time (and when i have cash >.< )..just the usual boring

Hey good to hear things are going well. I wouldn't mind seeing how your Firebird is coming along. You happen to have pics of it's progress hosted somewhere?
Oh and sorry Locust for sorta hijacking your thread.
