To everyone here I wish a Merry Christmas! Hopefully you all have a good holiday and get in some quality family time along with some good food and presents. :) If you're traveling, stay safe and remember: it's better to get there late than never. Those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, good luck with the weather.

Me, I will be at home by myself just relaxing with dinner and watching my 2 favorite Christmas movies: Die Hard and Bad Santa. :D

Well, it's 9:04pm here and I've gone all day without any face-to-face human interaction.

So yay for my family who didn't seem interested in making a 10 minute drive. Oh sure they called, and I didn't bother answering the phone. But they know they have presents sitting here waiting for them. And there's a host of other issues (like I'm basically an arsehole in their eyes) that made me not want to talk to them today.

So aside from that, one present, which a friend left me about two weeks ago, which I already knew what it was because I helped her pick it out.

Numerous generic group texts from people. Managed at least two that were clearly individualised so I guess that's something as well.

Bring on the New Year and another pitiful evening of being alone! Image

Merry Christmas, Vrolijk Kerstfeest, and ¡Feliz Navidad!

Just had Christmas breakfast with my parents, which consists of buns and croissants with either deli roast beef, extrawurst in the shape of either santa or a christmas tree, ham and cheese. We did presents afterwards (after skipping last year), but the guys are so hard to shop for, especially me! But we managed to get some this year.

And for dinner: fondue! Not cheese mind you, oil with minute pieces of meat. Yummy!

I had a frozen TV dinner and 2 bologna sandwiches. And much like Burn, I spent it alone, except I wasn't waiting for anyone nor did I get a visitor, a call, or even a text. :(

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope yours was a little nicer than mine. Instead of going down to my grandparents house for Christmas Eve, we brought them up to our house due to an ice storm in Toronto knocking out the power.
