Today is May 6th, which I always call "Revenge of the 6th." Not because of getting over partying on Cinco de Mayo, but because every even year I watch the Star Wars movies (Episodes II, III, and IV, actually) to counter every odd year of watching the original trilogy on May 4th. It's my Star Wars tradition. I don't own Phantom Menace, because I really don't like it that much, it's a waste of time to me. So I just watch New Hope twice. :D That may be changed when Episode VII comes out on blu-ray, and replaces Episode IV on my odd years. I know that's blasphemy to hardcore fans, but I'm not a hardcore fan so Image I thought of this because I'm currently watching Episode II, looking forward to the rest of the day of Star Wars goodness.

Also, on every New Year's Eve after midnight (which would be actually New Year's Day) I watch the 1986 Transformers: The Movie. It's the 1st movie I watch every year. Maybe a bit weird, but it's something I started doing about 15 years ago and it's a tradition for me.

I have a few others, but I'm curious if there are other people here who have some unusual things they like to do regarding some of your favorite activities, fandoms, games, etc.

(Internet ate my post.)

Towel Day! :D

Probably the only 'tradition' I follow. :-?

Though I do wear Star Wars clothing for May the 4th, and I wear fairly pop-referencing clothing on an everyday basis as it is, especially for teaching.

I go horror movie bonkers around Halloween time.

I'm also still hunting for a good deal on a Chewbacca costume for May the 4th. I want one of those high end ones that are super pricey.

On November 5th, I watch V for Vendetta. It's amazing.

During a four year stretch, I wore an outfit including a Starscream t-shirt ever underneath a basketball jersey or on shoulder in the first game of my high school alma mater's first football game.
During this stretch, for my high school had its best three season in a long time, including two IHSA semi-final games. The fourth year we stunk, so I wore a different jersey last year but kept the Screamer shirt. Last year, we did okay but lost to a conference rival in the second round.

This year: should I do a different TF shirt this time?

Two notes:
1 My high school's colors are green and white.

2 Football season starts in August so if you know of any TF shirts in DriFit/UnderArmour/ClimaCool etc, please tell me.
