The Generations Deluxe Armada Starscream is a figure with which I have a love/hate relationship. On one hand, I love the construction of the toy, and I think it's a great update to all the single ladies' favorite 'con. But on the other hand, he's got that terrible tomato red color all over him. Not to mention all the yellow. Have I ever expressed how much I dislike the color yellow? It's a lot.

So I decided to change that. However, I faced a dilemma; should I paint him to better resemble his archetype? Maybe I should attempt to make a new character. Or perhaps I could give him Mindmaster's colors, just for shiggles. Since I didn't feel like sculpting a new head, our resident ECT Co. Rep was off the table (sorry, buddy!) Also, I've been wanting a "classics" inspired Starscream for my Decepticon shelf, so I decided upon a G1 color scheme.

Ladies and Gentelman, and Shadowman, for your viewing pleasure, Starscream.

He looks like Universe Ramjet now.

I mean, kinda...Ramjet has a little more blue and less red in some spots, and more white/less blue in others.

Wait- It appears it only KINDA looks like Ramjet after all. I need more coffee.

if a Mind-Master figure was ever created (out of Generations Armada Starscream) there would be some happy campers
