Its slow progress with the neon paints, a nightmare to work with ...4hrs work

Really nice weathering! It brings out all the details that was obscured by the bright white plastic.

Thanks, i agree. don't understand how Hasbro can go to the trouble of doing all that detail on this guy then leave it in large unpainted and then to make it worse, make it bright white which hides it all

awesome work, took me a moment to see just how much you put into it. (I'm used to looking at the Takara version, sorry)keep up the great work

Thanks man, yeah it started out as the plain white version like this guy below, white face, legs etc ...was badly in need of some paint

Finally got a UV lamp, big improvement over the little torch i was using. quick test picture, cant wait till it goes dark

Really makes him look the powerful ancient city bot he is in the FOC/IDW continuities, and those UV reactive spots are amazing - top work

Thanks man, glad you can see the IDW influence with the touch of FOC (mainly the glowing lights and darker colour)

This detail work is really amazing. I have see a couple of Metroplex projects and I am pondering doing it as well.
I am digging the glow paint adds another facet of life to the figure. I also like the weathering you've done over the white as well. Kudos

...front is almost finished at last (just back, sides and city & spaceship mode to tackle

) it's changing a bit now i'm giving it a scratched look with the silver, will try get some pics up later
