Yes, I am planning to paint the molded details on his wrist to be somewhat like those on Optimus. (You can't see the decals because of the flash) I also need to hand paint the orange connection area of the cannon to the trailer, because I was unable to disassemble that part without destroying it. Glad you like it.

Great idea! I'm actually surprised at how good he looks in those colors. Would you consider removing the spoiler from Orion's back? It would make him less Rod-ish.

Sorry, it's been a while since I've posted about my G1 Orion Pax. Here's a comparison shot with Orion's wrists detailed as well as the silver details on his knees. I still don't know what to do about the waist area. I'm also comptemplating the idea of working out some sort of ram bars on the front end (like the Cybertronian Optimus) so that he can still transform correctly. Lookin' good. I'd second the fin removal, and maybe shrink the exhuat pipes. As for labels, I'd need screen caps, I'll check it out.

Did you use an original Rodimus for it?

Yes, it was a G1 plastic wheel Rodimus. The only decal that was left was the flames on the hood (I was able to save it). I also masked off the rub sign. Here's what it looked like before I got started repainting:
