Hi Guys and Gals :D

Two things i have always been into since i was a kid 1. Action Figures 2. Drawing .

So with a small file of my own creations i have kept over the years i have decided to once again get back into kitbashing and make my characters come to life .

I want to try and give a step by step update of my progress Starting with the drawing which will vary from a very ruff sketch to Half decent LOL , then the figures progress and at the end try to have a name and a bio for each character and some nice pictures to finish (now i'm not so good with words or telling stories so bare with me on that one :-s )

OK here's the first one , a rough sketch i did ...i dont know how many years ago .

Unfortunately with this one i got a head of myself so the pics jump a lot .

Here's a few bits before and after and where im at with the project at the moment .

The pics make the paint look realy bright but in hand the paint has a darker tone and smooother .

Back of the head . i will be having a tube coming out of the back going into the fan under the roof .

Making progress with the legs , wont be long before i paint the details .

Used some hot glue today to try and give the effect of the tubes leaking then watered down some paint to give a transluecent look

Think ill be changing the dark green strimmer wire for some bright green clothes line to match .

Trying to rust up the lid/roof of the glass dome and started painting the arms .

Trying out more hot glue effects this time with a saliva (no the easiest thing to use even for the simple stuff)

Here's a quick look at this guy built up , now he's not complete or finished in areas , mainly the weapons and the lid top needs some parts added , i did change the green tubes in the legs i think they match a lot better.

Crazy cool. Forgive me if I missed this detail, but are you going to fill the tube with anything or make it look like it's full?

Thanks for popping in , Cary :D

Ya know that's something i havent fully worked out yet , i'm not entirely sure what to do :-?

I do wan't to put hot glue drips on the out side of the tube to look like it's leaking

(So just of the top of my head) i'm thinking maybe put some drips on the inside and get some green translucent paint and painting the inside ?

Yeah, I would think filling it would obscure too much detail. Maybe a coat of some type of paint. Surely there is some type of "gel" hobby paint out there.

Crafty paints are out of my scope. House paint on the other hand... I've got a little experience with that.
