Oh boy I'm glad I finally put a closure to this. As this MOC (and his accompanying subMOCs minions , Sixgun ,Scamper and Slammer) took me bout 3 months to complete.


My Metroplex is an fairly articulated transformer ,turning into a mobile battle station and a base.

8 wheels is not enough . I have to implement 2 more hidden wheels at the center of the vehicle for me to roll it back and forth without scraping the surface.

One notable transformation step is 2 of the back wheels detaches and folded up to for the back mounted cannons in robot mode.

The above shows how the chest unfolds to form the helipad, and the right arm is shifted to the back to form the tower.







sixguns various components /guns can be connected to the base mode to weaponize it.

This is awesome. I had to go check out your blog to confirm a few things... You mentioned here "components of Six-Gun," but shared no photos that showed if Six-Gun himself could be built...



Alas, seems you were less successful with Scamper. Not to take away from your awesome accomplishment, but it is a bit disappointing that he doesn't have his own robot mode, instead just becoming an alternate torso to connect to Six-Gun componants. I am guessing it was just a matter of what you could make at that scale that works, but to me Six-Gun and Scamper should be separate characters.




(Slammer also being an extra Six-Gun torso, though, I just see as a bonus, since I don't worry about Slammer needing to transform in the first place!)



Any gripes about Scamper aside... awesome job! I love it!
