So, Optimus prime told himself, "Why mess around with jetpacks? If Megatron can be a truck, I can be a damn SPACESHIP!"
Image

And so, he did.

Optimus Prime finally have a SPACESHIP ALTMODE!

His bot mode look very powerful, despite the short legs. Kinda give him a Looney Toonesque muscleman look.

Of course, he's very posable. with a 360° waist, knees, shoulders, elboys, the whole shebang. The shoulder wings are ajustable for posing so they remain straight.

GIMMICKS! Spring loader SUPER PUNCH!
Image

And a surprise bonus joint. No. That a SUPRISE CANNON!
Image

It was a lot of work and I'm glad how it turn out. Now Optimus Prime can personally fight in space battles!

He's now a proud member of my Optimus Prime collection.

Yeah, yeah, dust.

Hope you enjoyed!

Asking us to play that music was a really nice touch. Also kudos on making something great from Animated Voyager Megsatron, who I believe is the worst tf toy of all time. I am glad he got sacrificed to make this fun flying boy!

Thanks! It was really fun to make with many "ha-HA!" moments. Voyager Animated Megatron IS a pretty aweful toy... but he got some great parts to use! ;)

Once again, the base mold was voyager Movie 2007 Starscream. Man, that mold have ENDLESS possibilities! Maybe for the next one, I'll pull a non-ape beast mode out of it.

No progress photos. I should really do that for my next one.The only 07 Screamers mold available for sacrefice is a Thundercracker. I plan making a beast this time. The step-by-step will be documented this time around.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Nicely done! I'm not familiar with the movie Starscream mold; are OP's arms from that figure, too?

Here's a rundown of all the victims.

First, Movie 2007 voyager Starscream, the eternal canevas, for the main body:

Animated voyager Megatron for the legs:

ROTF Power Battler Long Haul for the forearms:

Image

DOTM voyager Shockwave just for the upper arms (the tighs were used):

The tiny shoulder wings come from deluxe FOC Air-raid.

And finally, Optimus's head come from this Kreo set:

As for the stickers, they are leftover reprolabels.

Hope this rundown helped!
