3D Printed Replacement Parts RiD 2001 Megatron
Posted: Sat Apr 16, 2016 10:47 amSo I managed to snag an RiD Megatron for $2.99 on Ebay and he was missing his tail, dragon arms, weapons and the pieces on his dragon heads, so I decided to 3D print the replacements. I used Makerbot and stuff already uploaded to it and then resized and repurposed the parts for the custom. I used a ball jointed raptor design for the dragon arms, 2 versions of the Buster Sword for the weapons, and some ball joints, rectangular prisms and a pyramid to make the tail section. And I think it turned out very nice:
