Cyclonus and his armada

I started with four Combiner Wars Vortex and a Cyclonus. The only thing I've done to Cyclonus so far is some unfinished line work.
Alt modes- I popped off the main and tail rotors to give them a bit of a spaceship/rocket like base. Without attachments it's almost vaguely Sweep-like in shape. After that I partsformed them up with some wings, weapons, and other goodies giving each one a unique look.
Bot mode- they each seem to have their own personality based on their gear loadout. From left to right: Maelstrom- Heavy weapons. Tempest- Engineer (or Tactician haven't decided). Squall- Shock Trooper/assault. Zephyr- Scout. And of course Cyclonus as the commander.
Combined mode- Nice uniformed look free of the rotor kibble that I never really liked on the other Helicopter limbs. Again, no modding to speak of, just more partsforming.
I have an alt configuration for some of the parts in combined mode. Basically just the Dev chest with wings reversed to show the red and silver forward, but it's mostly blocked by the arms anyway so it doesn't have the silhouette I'd have liked. The handheld blaster can also be gripped by the barrel as a melee weapon similar to Generations Straxus' pick axe thing. Just a bit beefier and with shorter blades.
I was going to color the dark teal to a purple, but I think that might be overkill since there's already a lot of purple. Any suggestions for coloring are welcome. I'd like to avoid having to take the figures apart.
