Ok so I wasn't too keen on the CW autobot waves. I already had cool versions of the characters represented so I really wasn't looking to get them. But then I had the idea of getting some and swapping parts to make new characters. I bought Ironhide and trail breaker and swaps arms legs and heads to make new guys for my Betatron in an attempt at making a new combiner.

First I got Pathfinder, survivalist


And Armorhide, weapons expert



Simple to do and looks pretty good. Another way to get more out of the constant remolds.

Cool idea - curious about how they look in vehicle mode. Adding a few painted details could help sell them as unique characters - Ironhide's head would look less Ironhide with a gold face and black mohawk, for a random example.
