This is my first attempt at a complete repaint, and the paintwork is still a bit ordinary. The colours aren't exactly his G1 self, but I took a liberal slice of artistic license (as far as my artistry goes anyway)

Comments & Critisism welcome

Not bad at all. I'd go with a more of a blood red though and more yellow/red on the jeep parts.

I like him, and I'd love to see more pics of him. I especially like with what you've done with his spare tire/ weapon. Is that digital or did you really rig it with two flip-out guns?

the gun part behind his head was my attempt to make a better handgun for him. its just the spare tire with parts of the rollcage that I removed. hadn't worked out how to make it hand held yet so sat it there to look like horns but i think it gives him an Onslaught kinda look now

you should get a toy longhorn skull and mount it from the bumper like they do to the winny on road rules

I think you could install a handle on the tire where the screw goes. If you cut a bigger hole in the rear hatch, it should still be able to dock there. His own gun has the perfect handle, if you're willing to risk it.

I am actually working on that. just havn't put much thought in yet but still had to transform back into tire

A skull on the front would look pretty cool actually. Might try that

Excellent work. And I agree that the Longhorn rack across the front would be a great throw back to the G1 figure.

Since you've got him a sword, you can work away at the tops of the shoulders [if you're brave] and gain a little more play in the shoulders. They're still not the greatest but you should be able to get them to run parallel to the post. Still maybe that's just an issue I have with the Jeep mold. Any chance of finding a 1:24 jeep hard top and giving him a shield?

The camera effect is really messing with my tired eyes though. It's like they want to focus on hard edges that aren't there.
