Combiner Wars G2 Combaticons
Posted: Sun Jul 23, 2017 12:43 pmIt's been a while since I've posted anything, but now I'm back with my customized G2 Combaticons! I loved the G2-inspired deco, but with Vortex and Blast Off being more-or-less identical to Alpha Bravo and Quickslinger, I had to do something to improve the look.
Onslaught received the least attention, just a G2 'Con sigil from ToyHax. I'd love to replace the canons on his back, but I haven't found any I like.
Swindle received a new head from Steam Shield.
Brawl has a new head (no longer offered) and a new waist.
Vortex has a new head, cockpit, rotor assembly and blades, arms and skids, tail, and his glue guns. After I added all the new parts, I repainted with a slightly darker blue-green, and then added the purple camo.
Blast Off has a new head, wings and OMS pods, and nose. It was easier to match his paint, being white and black with purple camo.
I also picked up Perfect Effect's PC-01 set to add better hands and feet, as well adding weapons to their up-gunned vehicle modes (Except for Vortex, who's already well-armed).
And finally Bruticus, in all his terrible glory!
