G1 Box Art Galvatron

As a kid I always disappointed with and confused by the Galvatron toy Hasbro put out. At the time the toy itself was awesome. I could live with screen inaccuracy ( just barely ) but the light grays and ugly red bits really ticked me off, it just made him look weak. The box art however was bad @$$ so I decided to take my last spare Galvatron ( for now ) and go for it. I designed stickers that match the original box art and will apply them as soon as I get the printer working.

Nice, looking forward to seeing the stickers. Could you also include the original box art for comparison, please? Btw, how did you attach those images here? Isn't there a severe size restriction?

Thanks! I added the box art for comparison( thanks for the suggestion). I just posted them normally. I didn't receive a "too big" message like I have in the past so I just went with it.

Cheers! I wonder if Seibertron has changed? However, I remember that I once managed to post a massive animated banner, which worked fine. It took a midto notice it and helpfully edit it to a more manageable size (for the site).
Anyway, cheers for the comparison.

Well it's been awhile since I last posted (2015,2016 I Think?) and there's definitely been changes. Yeah, the mods are great at fixing my mistakes so I don't worry. You're welcome!

It's been a while for me, too, but I've decided to give Seibertron more love and attention these days.

Me too. Usually I only come here for the superior news coverage and galleries and TFWorld2005 for the kitbashes. But recently I decided to try and make Seibertron a one stop shop!

Me too, as I'm not so happy with TFW's handling of things. It's getting too toxic there and it's difficult to communicate with mods or admins, plus the site isn't exactly compatible with my mobile browser. Instead of complaining there, I have decided to invest positive energy into Seibertron.
Anyway, when will your printer be ready to add decals? Have you considered reprolabels?

Man...it's such a relief to hear I'm not the only one a bit bothered with TFWorld2005. While there's several cool,supportive people there the general attitude is kinda elitist when it comes to kitbashing. Tons of incredibly talented fans but geeze,a million praises for " yet another screen accurate Optimus, Bee or fanfave" while original concepts are buried deep in the thread is just plain ridiculous. Ironically those are the same people who complain about all of the Optimus and Bee pegwarmers. The franchise will die if it continues to cater to middle aged fanboys and ignore new concepts that future generations can relate to. Sorry for the rant.
I'm hoping all I need is some new ink but as of right now who knows. I've been looking at various magazines for things to use as well as considering just drawing them like I did for my G2 Hot Rod. Unfortunately repro labels doesn't have what I'm looking for.

One option is to scan existing labels (official or reprolabels) and change the pallets for them? That way you can homage the original figures template layout.

Actually I usually start with that so I can get the size correct. But, and this is just my own OCD talking, the box art stickers were a bit different from the official ones particularly the feet and shoulders so I need to create them digitally from scratch so to speak which is no big deal. I'm actually considering using my local library to print them;
