It's Metalhawk. No story, just... didn't like the official one. Nor did I want to spend stupid money for him.

Eventually I want to paint his titan master like his pretender shell.

This looks great! Beautiful job. I have the real one. And this just shows how much he needed the Yellow Gold over the Broze Gold that Hasbro went with.

Thank you. That colour was the main thing that put me off the official one. Though i also think, while not show accurate, he does look better with gold nosecone.

The yellow gold does look very nice! It has to be said that Hasbro is probably still nervous about doing gold plastic plus they've tended to lean towards bronze gold with it when they've done it. Hasbro and Takara are not masters of gold plastic like the folks at Nintendo are. Nintendo is capable of making gold plastic that's both nicely yellow, properly shiny, and rock solid. Like, if G2 Slingshot was made using Nintendo's gold plastic recipe then not only would he be even cooler looking... he'd be one of the most unbreakable Transformers of all time instead of one of the most frail.</segue>

Overall, a very nice job! Looks very awesome! How has the paint been holding up?
And have you thought about coming back to this and replacing the base Titan Master with the Vector Prime/Metalhawk Prime Master?

Thanks. The paint's been holding up great. There's a very minor bit of scraping when the cockpit hinges open, but it's very minor. Otherwise it's all great.

I have the POTP Vector Prime now, and I keep the Ramhorm titan master in that shell when he's in alt mode. One day, I may paint the TM up in a beige colour to match his suit and tie look.

In case you're wondering, the Vector Prime TM is sitting in Overlord's chest as one of his power masters.

Lovely job. I just recently started watching this series, and really love this end result.
