So, i just got legends class brawn, and one thing immediately annoys me is that his cockpit cannoy close all the way, leaving quite a gap.



upon inspection, i found out the cause is that there are part from the shoulders (circled below) that slightly raised, makes it bumping into the cockpit and preventing it from closing fully.



so what i need to do is removing the area that comes into contact with the cockpit, to make sure they don't get in the way.

First, i marked the part that needs to be removed (very vague mark, but i think it is visible enough)



and then cut off that area using exacto knife.



do that on both side.

After sanding them a bit to tidy them up, this is the result:



voila! The cockpit can now close fully all the way, no more gap.



the jeep now looks better.



now, i don't know if this problem is just mine, or is it a widespead problem. But if yours suffer from the same problem, hope this helps.

My Brawn doesn't have this problem. A running fix, perhaps!
