Figured I'd share a very unique custom project I finished recently. Presenting my Transformers coffee table! Now you can fight over who gets which side when having your tea and bickies!
It was incredibly fun to work on and now it makes a fantastic centre-piece for the living room.

Figured I'd share a very unique custom project I finished recently. Presenting my Transformers coffee table! Now you can fight over who gets which side when having your tea and bickies!

It was incredibly fun to work on and now it makes a fantastic centre-piece for the living room.
- it started with a plane piece of 4mm plywood.
- using a digital projector to give me a stencil to trace from.
- then connecting up the outlines with a ruler to start bringing the images together
- Once that was done the black paint came out to solidify the outlines.
- onc ethat was done I used red, purple and citadel silver paint to add the main colours.
- once painting was done and the piece attached to the coffee table I attached a sheet of 2mm perspex plastic to protect the paintwork and make it suitable for placing stuff on
- once the protective layer was peeled off the end result was a stunning new bit of geeky furniture!
